The dollar volume for Whistler in May is the highest we have seen yet this year, sitting just over $92 Million. The average sales price decreased a little bit, but stays consistent with previous months: $1,090,327. Property sales in Pemberton saw a decrease in the number of transactions done in May (10), but the dollar volume for condos and chalets both saw a significant increase. The average overall sales price in Pemberton transactions was $552,850. Squamish real estate is still going strong, with the number of transactions steadily rising this year and sitting at 86 for the month of May. The dollar volume for the month was just over $58 Million – only a slight decline from what it was in April, and still significantly higher than the trends of the first quarter. The average sale price for all sold properties was $675,344, but the average for detached houses alone is the highest it’s been this year: $1,036,804.
